Meet the author – Alessio Polloch

Thursday 7 August 2014 pm 19.30 at the Fountain of Messer Oto in Venosa (PZ), will include the presentation of the novel "Like a hummingbird"Of Alessio Polloch.

A meeting / show inspired by the classical dynamics of literary presentations and becomes a sort of parody. Interpreting the role of the author, Moderator and actor / dancer, Alessio will act as the protagonist of his book and use your imagination to fill the void that has left.

The novel
Sandro Pumpkin, Professor of History, receives a letter from the strange calligraphy. Claudio, his childhood friend, informed him that Giumone, their imaginary friend, is on the verge of death. Sandro is surprised and decides to go back to Agnone, the country of the bells, and sew up a hole of his past. Here begins a journey in which memories are intertwined with present events and the fantasy becomes the tool with which to fill in the gaps of life. Like the wind that moves the leaves Sandro Pumpkin blows on us telling his story years in an orphanage, the sua leak, meeting with Terry, who would become his foster mother, the story of the old Fiorigi and his pigeons and adventures with Claudio and Giumone.

The autore
Born in Termoli 1986, Alessio Pollutri vive tra Toulouse (France) and Reggio Emilia. He studied theater and the circus Flic (Turin), Balthazar alla (Montpellier) and the School of the experimental actor (Pordenone). He is the co-creator of Madame Rebiné company with which he made the shows The patient, and The rescue of the clown. With LibertàEdizioni published In the darkness of the pipes (2009) and The Pearl e ostrica (2010). He collaborates with several magazines and in 2013 won the award for best register 8-12 years in the competition "Syria Poletti – On the wings of butterflies "with The coat of notto.
