The show "Aeneid" by Giuseppe Ciciriello is the last chapter of the "Hero and Contemporary" trilogy on the ancient epic narrative, that the author and actor has been undertaking a few years ago together with the musician Piero Santoro. The reworking of the Virgilian text finds in Aeneas the archetype of those forced to leave their home and land, carrying only the hope of a better destiny across the sea. The narration of Giuseppe Ciciriello, which gives body and voice to the story, intertwines with the music of Piero Santoro, composed for his accordion and wind reeds by Ferdinando Filomeno, to return, in an ironic and intense show, the strength of a desperate journey that becomes research and destiny.

"Mandolins at the cinema" is the tribute that the Hator Plectrum Quartet ensemble dedicates to Ennio Morricone, through the performance of some of the most famous pieces composed by the master, adapted for mandolin. The training was born in 2007 with the intention of studying and performing the rich original repertoire for plectrum instruments: from the baroque sonatas, passing through the Neapolitan tradition, up to modern and contemporary music, also arranging famous film soundtracks. The quartet, which over the years has established itself for its originality, research and consistency of writing, is formed by Antonio Schiavone (mandolin), Roberto Bascià (mandolin), Fulvio S. D'Abramo (mandola) and Vito Mannarini (guitar), masters graduated from the “Niccolò Piccinni” Conservatory of Bari.

The Five Continents Festival is a traveling exhibition of shows and art born in 2005 with the aim of attracting the attention of the general public to the most beautiful and evocative places in Basilicata and Southern Italy. Its distinctive feature lies in the ability to mix the local history of the villages, enclosed in the monuments and artistic heritage, with traditions and customs of peoples from all over the world, represented by the shows of international companies and artists. The event from year to year has enriched the traditional proposal of contemporary circus and urban theater with new contents related to music, cinema, letteratura, contemporary art and food and wine.
